 Rkadia
was founded in a modest shop in Arlington, Washington. At
that time, our goal was simply this: to build the finest handmade
furniture possible. In our first three weeks, we created five
complete bedroom sets, packed them up and hit the road. The
first store we visited bought them all. Within six months
we were able to move into a larger shop and hire our first
employee. In the years since then, our company has grown,
but our philosophy has stayed the same. At Rkadia, every employee
is considered to be an integral part of our company, and is
trained in all aspects of our operations. In time, a core
of distributors was established. Our Vermont Pine series,
for instance, launched us into seven states with a large customer
base. Over the years, new lines have been added, always using
the finest softwood and hardwood, hardware and finish supplies
to produce them. Throughout our growth, we have remained committed
to quality. To maintain our standards of craftsmanship, we
have continued studying technological advances and incorporating
new tools into our production line. In 1997 in response to
increasing demand, Rkadia and crew moved once again to a much
larger facility. Although our company has grown, our philosophy
remains the same. As our clients past and present know, Rkadia's
products and customer service prove our commitment to quality. |
